Re: Is this legal (Lighting)?

I also plan to put white CREE projector signal lights. not amber. even tho it;s all the same socket will this be illegal? If so, is it required...

Re: 118 on 100
I got a ticket on Feb 13. I was driving on the 100 highway while approached by a moving police car. The officer first said I changed the lane without signaling, which was untrue. I explained to him that I did signal. Then he said he suspected I was using a hand-held device (mobile), which was untru...

Re: Dash Video Camera
There is a whole section on red light camera evidence.. but nothing about recording an officer... i'd say go for it! Better to have some evidence then none

Also... ACT62: Strength of front lamps (9) No motor vehicle shall carry on the front thereof more than four lighted lamps that project a beam having an intensity of over 300 candela. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 62 (9) in all reality.. you can argue all these if it's a secluded road outside the city...

Re: Underglow Lighting
I'm not aware of any provision in the HTA that prevents what you're describing. This is a Grey area in the HTA and many charges are laid, with individual JP's taking different positions on the matter. That being said, since (based on your other posts about loud exhaust, and your avatar) you appear ...

Re: Underglow Lighting
IMHO I would not put red lights underneath, if anyone can see them from say a hydro pole away, I would suggest that is casting light forward, if there happens to be a puddle, wet surface or our infamous snow also reflects light very well. or add a switch so if you want to "show" your car ...

Re: Does officer need probable cause before they turn on rad
"Probable cause" is a term used in the USA. There is nothing in Canadian law that says the officer has to "witness the vehicle at a high rate of speed" prior to turning on the radar. However, as part of a tracking history, the operator should observe the target travelling above ...

Re: Park interfering with snow removal...
Oh don't get me wrong. I'm not at all up in arms over this. Parking guy probably doesn't want to clear the snow from dozens of windshields and wedged the ticket into a less obstructed spot. I could second guess the guy, but that's his job and as the OP came on here complaining about the ticket we c...

well i'm not going to pay a $110 fine for driving a perfectly stock car..... What is the ratio of decibles to cylinders? I have a sound pressure meter i will test my car. It's a city bylaw that applies to motorcycles only, as already stated. Again, there is no decibel chart for a regular exhaust ti...
