Hmm. Interesting. I went down to the basement and checked my Michelin X-Ice winter tires. Date code 0405, and I bought them in December, 2005. No problem there. So I check the Goodyear Allegras that I bought a month ago, that are on the car now: no date codes. Presumably, as the video suggests, those codes are on the inboard side of the tires (I didn't crawl under the car to see). Why is Goodyear keeping them out of sight?

Just checked both our cars...dates were visible on the outside....one car was all 5th week 2007 and my new car was 7th week 2008.
