Very sorry to hear but almost all of us here lost our first. I decided to fight my future tickets for the same reason as you, I went to court and had a *EDIT* JP and a corrupt cop. I lost mine at first but then you learn the system and how they twist the truth legally and you learn from it and do it yourself in the future

Interesting parking scenario with sign covered

Got an interesting scenario here. North York, quiet residential dead empty street, Park where you want for up to 3 hours. On the entire street there is one tiny parkette, you can't park in front of the parkette.

In front of the parkette is a tree, the type with the whips hanging down and completely covering the sign. Even though I had 1km of free ...

I'm pretty sure there is something to protect the caller here, if people called to rat out parking infractions and then the cops give up the name after then you can imagine what happens. this is just like reporting any other crime, it is held in confidentiality , the angry guy who just go the ticket would show up at your door and cause fights ...

Welcoming myself

Hey folks. nice little forum here. Hope it isn't as stiff as the traffic act. I've learned quite a bit about the traffic isses over the last 20 years of driving and I hope I can turn to this forum for more help on the gray areas and at the same time help others with what I know about the act and the system.
