Re: Trial in 9 days, going in alone! Lots of procedure Q's

Hi,

Refer yourself as "I". Do not show anything before the trial. Show your picture only during the trial. Anything you tell the prosecutor before the trial can be used against you. They will prepare themselves for your questions.

Trial is much more easy than We think. My experience. Tell everything you think is right, what COP says is his side ...

Re: Do I need to order a transcripts for part 1 offence?

Hi Off_Camber

Congratulation, I just saw that you have won the appeal.

Can you explain me how the court looked at your appeal without transcript. Did they have their own transcript?

I sent my appeal form by mail. Now what should I do, just wait a response from the court?

Thanks

Re: Appeal agianst the trial

Thanks for the reply.

I called the court office this morning and asked about the appeal procedure. I don't want to go to the court to file an appeal (I have six hours drive to court). The lady on the phone told me that I could pick the appeal form from my local court and and mail the completed form to their office. About ordering transcript she ...

Re: Small ticket...But also Small Bank account

fight your ticket for two reason:

You can defer your payment until trial, and even if you didn't win trial, you can ask the Justice from 4 to 6 months to pay it.

You can get it reduced upto $40 before the trial for a pleas guilty.

Re: Appeal agianst the trial

Had my trail in the court yesterday. I had two tickets. one not changing lane for emergency vehicle and the other was passenger under 16 not wearing seat belt.

The child seat belt ticket was withdrawn, as the cop accepted that he did not notice child car seat while driving.

I want to appeal for the other ticket. The trail took almost an hour ...

Motion for Stay- inadequate disclosure

Hi

I wanted to make a motion of stay in the court due to inadequate disclosure.

I thought I can make it when I go to the trial. But I was just reading Ticket Combat website and came to know that for any motion of stay, I need to apply 15 days before the court. Form 4F, Factum and Affidivit.

What is the procedure. I don't have 15 days left. Is ...

Re: Cop did not change lane for another emergency vehicle

The emergency vehicle is on the right shoulder. The cop asked me to pull over. I just pulled over 50 m infront of his vehicle.

Do I require to change lane and then come back again on right lane and then pull over.

I think if I am pulling over on the right shoulder, I should be in the right lane, even if I had to pass the emergency cruiser. In my ...

Re: Cop did not change lane for another emergency vehicle

I was on highway 100K speed limit. I had to pulled over, so the speed was really slow but I could not stop behind him safely so I passed.

How far we should change the lane to see an emergency vehicle. As I was about to change the lane from 100-150 meter, but he waved me before that. Does the law says something about it. he did not mention my ...

Re: Cop did not change lane for another emergency vehicle

I was 200 m away from his car when he waved me. I was just about to change the lane, but thought he wanted me to pull over, so I slowed down to 45K, but did not change the lane as I had to pull over.

Actually He did not waved me to pull over, by waving he wanted me to change the lane.

I only could not understand his signal.

Cop did not change lane for another emergency vehicle

The cop pulled me over on highway. There were two emergency vehicle on the right shoulder. The cop in the back car came behind my car. while passing another stopped emergency vehicle he did not move over. Was he required by law to move over for another emergency vehicle even if it was only 1 and half car length away?
