“Wrong Service Date On Red Light Ticket In Hamilton”

Ok, I got photographed going through a red light camera in Hamilton on November 30 2011. I received the notice today November 16. The strange thing is the notice indicates the signature of the officer swearing that the offence was commited, his officer number and the date of December 21 2011 which is next week. So he is certifying something on a date in the future.

My question is, should I go to the court on then 19th and show this to them and indicate the error, telling them that I may go to trial based on this error?
