So what happened with your tickets???

I am from Vancouver visiting families in Toronto and I got into the exact same situation as mentioned by the the person who started this post....

The ticket says 8:45 pm... I didn't see the sign.
Plus I don't know the city that well myself and was getting directions from a family member who said ...
