The trial was initiated by the cop who charged you. He has an obligation by law to be in court. If you believe youre going to win the case on merit you can demand the court issue a warrant for his arrest.
You can sue him in Small Claims Court for little expense on your part for your costs and any economic loss for the day.

Yes, maximum fines of $1900. Minimum fines $161. Plus you could lose your licence or permit for 6 months. But no jail time.

You haven't been to court on this at all yet right?
In other words, you haven't pleaded not guilty yet?
Tomorrow you will only enter a plea. You set the trial date.

You need to plead not guilty. I think you're only entering a plea tomorrow and setting a trial date. We'll help you walk your way through this.
On wat date did you buy the car?
You need to make a disclosure request so you can see why you were stopped and what evidence they will use against you.

Even when cops are off duty they can still make arrests, but they must witness the crime. You committed no offence. But given his comments, you can see the bad attitude some of them have.

I have heard that also, but have not seen anything in B&W. I heard it was going to be in October and apparently a 320 page document. This info I have was from a local paralegal, who said literally said "I don't have time to read all that BS, as it apparently it is a rights issue and yet driving clearing written is a priviledge".

In my view, you have too many thread stickied. You should have no more than 2 threads pinned, the others should float like all other threads. This way the popular threads stay at the very top of this section of the board.
Just a suggestion, though.

Cops investigating cops is total Hogwash, though.
There should be a citizen panel that investigates cops complaints for any reason with appeals to the court.
