About a month ago my wife was parking at a parking lot while visiting a doctor. She got a parking ticket from provincial parking enforcement officer. She argued about the ticket since she felt it was not justified and left the lot. About a week later, we got a phone call from a person who claimed that his car was hit at this parking lot and he wants us to pay him $1,000 in damages.
