Response to the lawmen

I'm going to try exactly what you said lawmen and see how that goes. I'll get back to you in seven years when it starts to itch.

Your post is the first time I've ever seen the problem of opposing a legal situtation stated in a manner that is possible for an ordinary citizen to act on and I plan to take full advantage of it.

Thank you very much ...

ONTARIO CELL PHONE LEGISLATION

It will soon be illegal to drive while talking on a hand held cell phone in Ontario. Whenever a law like this gets passed, those in opposition come out of the woodwork. I thought Id clarify how I believe this law came to be passed.

The coming Cell Phone legislation is the legislative offspring of the 2007 anti ...

Letter to the Ontario Legislature

This is an e-mail I sent to the legislature today regarding street racing and the new Cell Phone legislation. There are links to the attachments so you can read where we are at right now:

Dear Elected Members of the Ontario Legislature,

This is another in my promised education program about environmental and other legislative subjects. Sorry ...

Global TV's street racing special tonight

Apparently the street racer special starts tonight. Christina, the reporter who Tim and I were interviewed by told me it was to air on October 1st. Maybe tonight is a lead up. There was a couple of short advisories about it yesterday but I thought I'd wait to talk to Christina or at least Global but after several tries, I've had no luck.
Whatever ...

Hwybear - an icon of common sense in a sea of babble.

Hwybear, I think you just passed another credibility test with flying colours.

Too bad you can't bottle common sense and sell it. We have politicians who need at least a quart each. You'd be rich.

This Act.

That's the Highway Traffic Act.

The information released to the pubic from the Attorney General's Office said the seizure was conducted under the Civil Remedies Act.

I believe there is a time limit which applies. You can't go on flip flopping about which act charges are going to be laid under forever.

No mention was made of the Highway Traffic ...

It's all in the timing.

That was a good post and you make most of my points.

The part about the trial before crushing I wasn't able to confirm or otherwise on the net and still haven't been able as the articles I referenced and could find didn't reference it. What the attorney general's office did say was the the Civil Remedies Act was used to seize the vehicles. Since ...

Stunt - the real definition

50 over is still not a stunt if you are used to it.

Since the Ontario government is reinventing the English language to suit itself, not the public, it is a stunt to them, but not to anyone with half a brain who knows what the real meaning of the word stunt is.

Funk and Wagnalls

Stunt 1. A sensational feat; as of bodily skill; 2. any ...

When is a stunt a stunt?

50 over is still not a stunt if you are used to it.

still meets the definition under what is a stunt

50 over is first and foremost a speeding offence.

The government inventions for the word stunt does not make going 50 over a stunt unless doing it is an unusual occurence.

Since many, many drivers on the 401 and 400 commonly drive or drove ...

Re: A open letter!

I don't really think it matters that the person was a school teacher, priest, mortician, doctor, lawyer, sanitary technician etc...all would have been treated the same.

Reference the car crushing....there has been no crushed cars since the revamped Bill 203 that came in effect 30 September 2007. So bringing the car crushing from prior dates ...

Gas money

I think you will be quite happy to read the book. It could have been written for you.

The first book I wrote THE REBEL MACHINE IDENTITY is more you though. You should read that one too.

It's all about my adventures as a street racer. It's a fairly big book. I had a lot of adventures.

You can imagine getting chased in a car that shines in the ...

Agree to disagree - that's freedom in action

While we're agreeing to disagree, I sent one of the posts to the Attorney General's office. There is no point belly-aching unless you are prepared to put your money where your mouth is and I am.

I'm also meeting with my MPP tomorrow and one of the things I'm hoping to find out is what convinced him to vote for the street racing legislation in the ...

A rebuttal is merely a rebuttal - not an attack.

Hwybear, I'm sorry if you thought my post was an attack on you. It wasn't intended that way. I was merely rebutting the statements made in your e-mail.

As noted in my rebut, I understand the police are in a nasty position. But not all police personnel are taking the same mild stance you are and more than likely they have their own reasons for ...

A open letter!

Thank you for your letter "A lot of offensive comments!" about my post regarding the street racing legislation Section 172 that is itself an illegal act put in place by illegal means.

To answer your first point: "no cars are crushed."

Yes they were. On June 15, 2006, two cars were crushed. The threat of cars being crushed and/or sold at auction ...

Re: How I got here...

I'll autograph one of your books if you give me a free one, LOL

BTW... coming up on 3 years ticket-free!! (pats self on back)

I remember reading this article back in the early 80's. Of course I would never run from the cops, but I always wanted to build a similar "theme" car. It's just "too cool"!

How I got here.

Hi Hwybear,

I do understand that the individual who steered me to this site was declared one of Canada's worst drivers, #2 in fact.

I don't personally agree with that assessment and I believe it was a moronic assessment.

The reason for my disagreement is that his safety record also has to be taken into account to make a fair judgment and it was ...

The numbers game

I have all of the numbers from 2000 to 2005. Those are all that are available that are relevant. I converted them into charts that I made up to make sense of MTO's raw product. By doing that, the real truths of the situation were revealed. They are all in my book.

I've made a request of MTO to supply me with the numbers for 2006 and 2007 which ...

Section 172 the illegal legislation governing street racing

Hi I'm new to this forum but I hope I'm bringing you all good news.

I recently wrote a book short titled ABUSE OF POWER

This book is all about how the Ontario government broke the law to enact the new street racing legislation.

To start with the denial of the right to remain innocent until proven guilty was enacted without due process under the ...
