Would I need to proactively seek out the prosecutor (in advance of my trial date or on the day of trial) or are they likely to come to me?daggx wrote:Plead not guilty. This will set a date for trial, you can then talk to the prosecutor before your trial begins and work out a plea deal.

RLC Ticket in Ottawa Early Resolution option
I have read through this thread and would like to try early resolution in order to have the fine reduced.
My ticket does not have an early resolution option. It lists 3 options:
Plead not guilty
Challenge the evidence
Plead guilty
Which option will allow me to discuss the case with the Prosecutor and try to get the ticket down?
Thanks
