Canada's worst driver
I would like to know how much did those people pay to get their licence. Clearly they must of know the instructor to get their licence. Shows like that just show how corrupt the whole system is. We get ticketed for 10 over and morans like that are allowed to drive. I love that show and watch it every week, maybe it should be a mandatory show to watch for instructors.

Why not just ban cars in general and we all take buses to work. I really think that the genaral pulblic should stand up for our rights and freedom. What is a "electronic gadget" Another big GREY area you can get a ticket for. My car came stock with an ECU/ABS/TractionControl, is that a gadget. We all use them while driving. Total BS..maybe next election you should really consider who to vote for . Oh and what about the police cars?, are they not full of electronic "gadgets" like radars, gps, cell phones and computers..go figure. A police chase is on and the officer is trying...

Another good article I found. "When Ontario passed new street racing laws last fall, they were hailed as the toughest in North America. The legislation gives police the power to seize cars and licences on the spot if drivers are charged with street racing, or stunt driving. As of May 20, 2008, police had laid 5,139 street racing or stunt driving charges since the law was enacted on Oct. 1, 2007. But CBC News has learned that the vast majority of people charged under the new laws are never convicted of the crime. George Papazov says he's a perfect example. Last October, the 23-year-old got...

I still don't agree with that, it should be up to the judge to decide that and not some rookie officer that is in a bad mood. I thought we live in a free country and are innocent untill proven guilty??. Total BS if you ask me. Thats just a publicity stunt, as bad as David Millers proposal to close down shooting ranges in Toronto. He said that guns are very dangerous and people should not have them in their possesion even as a hobby. On the same note according to Fantino cars are used as a weapon also in some cases. Why not crush all the cars and be done with it. All these new laws and rules lo...

So for number 2 if you are not squealing tires from a stop and not turning while in control of the vehicle you are OK. Lets say I'm driving an AWD car with lots of power and good traction around the corner without exeeding the speed limit and not spinning tires is that OK?. I still think that the officer should use his common sense in those situations. So in the winter time your back end looses traction and you spin the car, the police sees that and impounds your car. WTF!

Smoking also kills people and causes cancer, there are no fines for that. Its all about revenue. Install limiters on ALL cars at 120km/h, Oh wait but that would not generate any money. So make the cars even faster increase fines and make even more money. I just wish the police would use their discresion more when pulling people for speeding. Why not consider time/conditions/vehicle/driver. I'm sure that a 80 year old man driving at 160km in his Lincoln is not safer then 30 year old in his Ferrari that was designed for that speed.

The "muffler" ticket I would go to court with and propably win. Here is why. In the current OTA it states that all vehicles must have a muffler BUT if the government(and police) actually did some reading they would discover that not ALL vehicles come with a muffler from the factory. The NEON SRT4 does not have a muffler, it only has resonators which are straight thru. Just because you have a straight though muffler it does not make it loud. Lets read this example together(link). This muffler(in the link) is a straight thru design and you can not see thru the other side. The "see...
