Is this a fatal flaw that I was only told on the Saturday and my court date was Monday that the court wouldn't be open?

I received a hand held device summons 3 back in sept. The scheduled date to appear on the summons that the officer gave me was Monday Oct 9.

My question is what am I facing? $1000 fine so be it and multiple demerit points I am guessing? I just wanted to know what to prepare for. Should I consult a lawyer or paralegal?
