Ontario Highway Traffic Act

Hello.

Yesterday (Civic Holiday) I received a ticket for "proceeding contrary to sign at intersection". I turned left onto Lakeshore BVLD from Stadium road and the sign clearly stated no left turn, Mon - Fri, 4:00 - 6:00 pm (my ticket was issued at 5:46 pm.)

Two questions:

1) Does the Mon - Fri restriction apply on statutory holidays? It might ...
