Ontario Highway Traffic Act

No this happened in Ontario and it's not the first time. I am no saint but why do they alway have to use their cars to run me off the road.

I was just charged for no sticker, my truck is stock and has no fifth wheel attachment. It does weigh over 4500KG. The officer said all trucks over 4500Kg must have a sticker regardless of use. I guess i had just been lucky up till then. Now i have additional expenses each year.

CVOR must now be renewed every year. $100 to sign up for program, $50 a year from then on.
However, CVOR not required for pickups up to 6000KG and no log book required.
My truck ways over 4500KG but less than 6000KG. I use it for personal use as described before. My owenership states 3800KG but i still need that annual inspection sticker because ...

Cops write like doctors so they can't be held accountable. If no one can read it then they can make up what it says and who's gonna know. Another example of how sloppy and lazy our police gestapo are in ontario.

I've talked to MTO, cops, mechanics etc... and get a different story from each one. Why does a Dodge Ram 3500 that is used for personnal use need a Inspection sticker. Vehicle impounded, tow truck operator tried to over charge for tow and storage. Went to township and threatened his licence. Got money back, but what a hassle. I could swear that some OPP get kick backs.

LESSON: Check their rates with local township if you use a tow.

I can understand a cop making a traffic stop, but i can't understand that they would go to any length including wreckless endangerment to stop the alleged perpetrator.
