Unnecessary Noise: D-points & Insurance Hike?
For unnecessary noise (stereo music), are there any demerit points? The total fee is $110, but I'm wondering when it shows on one's abstract will the insurance hike premiums over that matter?

No demerit points. As far as insurance goes, most of them would just ignore this particular offence and not charge you any increase, unless you have a history of racking up numerous other tickets. That said, there are a handful of companies who would likely give you a small increase, but not anything too daunting.
