You can also call the Crown Prosecutor's office in advance of the day of trial and offer to plea bargain. But yes, if you aren't going to plea-bargain on the day of trial, then you'd have to go to the Prosecutor's office to make the deal a couple of days (or weeks) before your trial date. It's one way of doing it.

Ok, i'm just waiting on my trial date to come in the mail so I can request disclosure. Depending on what's in the officer's notes I may fight it or go to the crown prosecutor's office to arrange a plea-bargain.
I'll keep everyone filled in on my progress.

How do you check for their presence? what if i dont remember what he looks like?

You'll have to remember what the officer looks like. Otherwise, you could wander around chatting up the cops you see and reading their name tags.

our court has a mandatory sign in sheet for defendants/paralegals/witnesses and officers. This helps speed our court up, not wasting time calling on persons on the docket who are no where to be found.
