We've had some history with the police in my town..
orilliapacket.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=2158203
We have a steady police presence of 5 - 10 officers in the town at any given time.
Long story short I exercised my right to not talk to the police (I watch them beat the *EDIT* outta my brother and a…
Just wondering what you guys think of those HOV lanes.
Sure these lanes are faster then usual but i think they present a ton of problems, now the first thing i want to clear up is often we say speed is dangerous. Okay i can believe that depending on the context and situation its used in. But i think…
I heard somewhere that flashing your lights (i.e. clicking your high beams on and off) to warm drivers in the opposite direction of a speed trap is a violation of the highway traffic act.
Is this true ?
I was watching motoring 200X and they spoke about this, and accorinding to them, it is NOT illegal…
Mid July 2012 I was hit at 6pm by a drunk driver. That's when my hubby decided to tell me that he didn't take care of the insurance as he was supposed to. So, I got charged with driving without insurance. Car is in my name.
Inuries were minor - all of us had aches/pains, hubby had seatbelt burn…
Hello I'd like to start by saying what a great site this is!
Back on July 31 2011 me and 7 other friends received speeding tickets for 148km in a 100km zone on motocycles. I received my disclosure on March 2nd and court is on March 14. which isnt alot of time to prepare ![]()
some facts of the case

Just wondering what this incident means...........
My wife got caught not making a full stop - no contest.
However, also got a "ticket" for failure to surrender card - but she did but it was expired.
She found the good card after that mistake and gave it to the officer.
However she still got a "ticket"…
I got a speeding ticket doing 75 in a 50 zone. There where vehicles all around my vehicle doing about the same speed. The road was 2 lanes in one direction and 2 lanes in the other direction. There was a vehicle beside mine, another behind that vehicle and a vehicle behind me, all moving above the…
Hi all,
Unfortunately I got a "Disobey Sign" ticket tonight in this weather for turning left at a no left turn intersection (Greenwood turning left onto O'Connor) and my question is if it is possible to fight this ticket successfully due to a variety of reasons.
First of all, since visibility was…

Hello.
I'm from Ontario and am here to learn. I recently had a 4 pointer dismissed on an 11b argument. Now I'm wanting to learn about defending against the Crowns appeal. I received notice of it this week.
Cheers

hi new here, joined so i can ask a question relating to HTA section 62,... but how do i do so?
Re: New Member? Come and say Hi and Introduce yourself here! :)
Hello friends:
I'm not good with computers, it took me about one hour to register and to find the proper box to introduce myself. So, at last here I am. I am Kumar from Mississauga, I was/am a real estate agent, not active though still having my licence for last 30 years. I am a senior citizen and very happy to find such a forum.
I am fighting a ticket HTA 7(1)(A) sticker issue, court date is on May 29th, 2019, having an excellent driving record. Would very much appreciate if someone can provide some website to draw a few precedents so at least I would have some fighting chance. Any and all help/advice would be highly appreciated.
A big applause to whoever created such a forum. Thank you.

Hi guys!
Thanks for setting up this great site! I used your template in my disclosure request today. I've also left a post over in the general questions section - not too serious of charges I'm fighting, but I think I have a good shot.
Thanks again!

Re: New Member? Come and say Hi and Introduce yourself here! :)
Hi everyone. I was trying to find out some information re: recent citations (for my son) and was continuously redirected to this site so I figured I would join. I will posting the situation once I figure out where to post it.
Hopefully there are some experiences with it and some guidance could be offered. Thanks!
