Cancellation of permit, licence where false information is provided

5.2 (1) If the Minister is satisfied that any information provided by the holder of a vehicle permit or drivers licence to the Ministry or the Ministrys delegate is false, the Minister may, without prior notice to the holder, do either or both of the following:


1. Cancel the vehicle permit or drivers licence.


2. Correct and amend the Ministrys records. 2008, c. 17, s. 30.


Benefits obtained under false information nullified

(2) The holder of a vehicle permit or drivers licence cancelled under subsection (1) is subject to the requirements of this Act without the benefit of anything done under this Act in reliance on the false information. 2008, c. 17, s. 30.
