Do I Have Any Chance Beating This Red Light Camera Fine?

Unread post by IamCDNEh »

It says:

The photograph taken by the red light camera system show the vehicle approached the intersection, at which the signal had displayed red for:

000.4 seconds

and then the vehicle proceeded through the intersection when the lights have been red for

001.2 seconds

It was signed by an officer that the above offense has been committed.

The photos are the evidence aginst you. If photos are clear and support the charge you likely will lose. This charge does not go on your record nor has any demerit points attached. It is offence against the owner of the motor vehicle and not the driver. Usually, on guilty plea, your fine is reduced. There is no need to file this ticket for trial unless photos do not support the alleged offence.
