Leaving The Scene Of An Accident And Impaired

Unread post by ConcernedDad »

First of all, I wasn't sure where to post this.

I have just received word that my son who is a legal adult crashed his car into a telephone pole and left the scene of the accident. He was later taken into custody and charged with DUI. I am only to assume that he will also face charges for leaving the scene. To my knowledge no one was hurt. I am out of the Province on a work contract at the moment. I am wondering if anyone would know what kind of charges he'll face. What a debacle.

Well, the 2 that you mentioned are not to be sneezed at. Legal representation is a must here. Due to the lack of injuries he might get off lighter. Those will more then likely be the 2 charges he faces.

Hopefully, he learns from this....................

These are criminal offences and not part of the HTA forum.
