by: racer on

The Hamilton Spectator reports that a Brantford judge who had her fine cut in half appealed the decision and had her fine reinstated to the full amount (back up to $180).

The Ontario Provincial Police were called in by Hamilton police Dec. 15 to investigate a complaint. OPP investigators allege they uncovered the "illegal handling" of a ticket.

Well if I had gotten off with a reduced fine, and then heard that a provincial investigation had been opened on the matter... I'd do the same thing she did - ask to pay the original amount.
