127 In An 80

Unread post by 00_Coupe »

Hello,

Last night I got a ticket for 27 over the limit on Hwy 6 in Hamilton. The cop saw me go through the light at clapsons corner but didnt get me on radar and then followed me until the link. He said I did 127 down the hill on hwy 6 and 120-130 on 403... I'm 27 and haven't had any tickets in over 4 years. Should I go guilty with an explenation, or set a court date?

Thanks,

Absolutely, set a court date. Do some more reading here and at http://www.ticketcombat.ca

file for disclosure right away

here are the possibilities:

crown does not disclose and you get a stay

crown does not disclose and judge adjourns. Delay put you in position for 11b charter challenge and you get a stay

officer doesn't show up, you walk

worst case, you plea bargain and get reduced fine and demerit points
