Need Some Advice!!!!

by: TG416 on

Ok, I am in need of some advice on a charge. My license (g2) expired back in august (31). I did not take any action to redo it and get it back at the time. Later in november I recieved notice of suspension due to unpaid ticket. Because I did not need my license at that time, I disregarded the letter and figured I would pay reinstatement and deal with the unpaid fine sometime in the spring. Long story short, I used a car one night in december and got pulled over. Officer charged me with driving under suspension, but I had no license at the time?? As of now there are no suspensions on my license, it has been taken care of, but I still don't have my G license yet/ I have to redo it. I am just mainly wondering about the validity of the charge due to not even having a license when he dinged me with driving while suspended license???

You can have a licence that's both expired and suspended at the same time. They're different "layers" of not allowing you to drive.

* The above is NOT legal advice. By acting on anything I have said, you assume responsibility for any outcome and consequences. *
