Offence Date Not Available At Paytickets.ca

by: jutka2003 on

My speeding ticket took 3 weeks to appear at PayTickets.ca and when it did finally appear, the offence date on it is "not available". Do you think this would be enough to having it dismissed? The ticket is for 15 km/h over reduced from 26 km/h over. I still haven't paid it because i was told i have 44 days - I could not have paid it on time anyway since it didn't appear for 3 weeks after. I need to pay it this week though. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Paytickets is not the official document and the absence of the offence date on its website is not grounds to get it dismissed. If the date was absent on the ticket itself, that's an entirely different situation.

Thank you Moderator....that is exactly the conclusion that i've come up with as well. In an effort just to "be over this" I did end up admitting my guilt and paying my ticket. I fully support those people that opt to go to court and try to fight their tickets, but because of my efforts to try and keep this a secret from the other people in my life i decided that paying would be the best way for me to proceed. Thanks again Moderator for your help.
