5.2 (1) If the Minister is satisfied that any information provided by the holder of a vehicle permit or driverâ€™s licence to the Ministry or the Ministryâ€™s delegate is false, the Minister may, without prior notice to the holder, do either or both of the following:
1. Cancel the vehicle permit or driverâ€™s licence.
2. Correct and amend the Ministryâ€™s records. 2008, c. 17, s. 30.
Benefits obtained under false information nullified
(2) The holder of a vehicle permit or driverâ€™s licence cancelled under subsection (1) is subject to the requirements of this Act without the benefit of anything done under this Act in reliance on the false information. 2008, c. 17, s. 30.
