Can I Fight For A Ticket With An Incorrect Offense Date :(
Last Satauday I was pulled over by a police officer for "Fail to wear complete seat belt assembly" section 106(2) of the OHTA. I notice the officer wrote the wrong offence date (2010/06/02) on my ticket. I don't have any ticket in past 10 years and I certainly not want the two points on my licence. If anyone has any insight on such matter or expierence on how to fight such ticket. Please forward info.
Greatly Appreciated

Hello Herbert,
As we have discussed this, you have a strong chance of winning this ticket. If the date of the offence is wrong then the ticket should be quashed by the justice of the peace.

I had a JP quash a ticket of mine once because he couldn't make out the date. My writing was too sloppy.
