Sorry, another red light camera question

I got a red light camera ticket yesterday.

I was driving the car when I went through the red light Feb 15 1:40PM and it the coldest day of this year with -40c.

I want to choose option 2 to meet prosecutor for reducing the fine but License plate is under my wife's name and she is out of country for a while and she can not meet prosecutor in time.

Please let me know any your suggestions based on your experiences for my situation.

Can I meet prosecutor instead of my wife?

Is there any chance prosecutor will set me convicted to effect my insurance?

Sincere thanks.

It will not effect your insurance or be on you or your wife's driving records. You can file for trial if you want and a deal for a reduced fine will be offered there at a later point in time.

So I can attend the meeting instead of my wife?

Many thanks for your answers.
