Re: How to file an 11B

Alright so just an update: a paralegal is willing to file an 11b for me but the process is all done through fax?

Is this a viable option?

Please try to respond asap as I need to know tonight!

Re: How to file an 11B

Also, how important is it to have the original notice of trial along with transcripts? I already had my court date adjourned due to lack of disclosure, however I've seemed to have temporarily misplaced (going to search for it still) the notice of trial. I also didn't request any transcripts from the...

Re: How to file an 11B

Thanks for the response. Do you/anyone know whether there's been success of filing for a stay via fax method?

Coming in FAR from Toronto, so if I can somehow pull it off with a decent chance at Old City Hall that would be preferred....

Re: How to file an 11B

Quick question,

I'm trying to plan out whether I need to take the whole day off work, how long did this process take for everyone? I'll be at Old City hall.

Thanks

Followup Disclosure Request?

Has anyone ever requested disclosure a second time after receiving it the first? Specifically, the officer didn't provide a typed up version of his notes and his writing is very difficult to read.... Not sure how this'll hold up in court though. Also, while I have someone here, whats the best way to...

Re: How to file an 11B

For these steps I understand it has to be in court: 1. Go to Ticket Office (sardine room). 2. Get into the big line to pick a number. Tell clerk that you are "filing an 11b". 3. He will give you a number, beginning with the letter O for "Other". 4. Wait, wait and wait until you a...

Re: Quick question, is this ok.....

Guess it wont let me edit it more, but apparently they agreed that they received my disclosure request in Sept, but once again emphasized "officers # was not disclosed". Someone else attended the trial for me. It SHOULD be the crown's fault for adjourment no? Is there any way to verify thi...

Re: Quick question, is this ok.....

So just an update, my offense date was last February, had the trial recently (within the week) and no disclosure received despite making the three attempts over previous months. Administration noted that they didn't receive my registered mail request, however my request also didn't have the officers...

Re: Quick question, is this ok.....

Thanks

So accept disclosure even if its right beforehand? I thought I read somewhere that you should deny it until after or tell them to provide it after?

Regardless, it should be adjourned worst case scenario right? As disclosure on the date = not enough time to form a defence?

Thanks again!

Quick question, is this ok.....

So a family member is going to represent me in court. Still haven't received disclosure yet despite requesting three times over the past 3 months. However, I have all fax receipts along with tracking number, notice of trial, but seemed to have misplaced the original ticket. (Still have a week to dig...

Can anyone confirm the fax number for Toronto South?

Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can still confirm that the fax number is (416) 338-6986

Toronto South Court Office

Old City Hall
60 Queen St. West
Toronto, ON
M5H 2M3

Can't seem to find it anywhere on the web and I figured I'd ask here before trying to call during the day.

Thanks
