Re: Failing to move, where possible for emergency vehicle

New this spring, tow trucks are included in move over law.... But who is going to protect us from Tow Truck drivers? MacCharles said besides this "dubious" behaviour, tow truck drivers have an extraordinarily high collision rate, 20 per cent compared to 1 per cent for other commercial veh...

Re: Stunt driving at 155 on 400

A quick Google of that name links to all sorts of scam and fraud allegations. For any posters seriously considering his services I'd point out that reputable paralegals have no need to spam this board for business. I also find it interesting that he promises 100% refund if not successful. So give h...

Hi AndruLuka. If you haven't noticed, this board is in regards to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act, a piece of legislation that exists in Ontario, Canada. 'County law', 'local rule' or 'state law' (as you've mentioned in some of your other posts) are completely irrelevant to anything discussed on th...

Re: Black Thursday! I got 3 tickets in one trip!

none of the farm exemptions apply when you have 4 axles or more So why does it say: "Towed vehicle(s) includes trailers, farm implements and wagons." in the HTA 32, 37, Reg. 340/94 quoted above? A wagon has two axles so with a pickup or tractor you are at 4 axles. When would you ever have...

Not sure if this has already been posted but this one was in the Toronto Star today. I like how her mother says her daughter has never done it before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=48lxqgdo8iw Woman drives on sidewalk to avoid school bus One of the greatest sins a driver...

Re: 51 over, speed measured via aircraft

So if you're doing 151 km/hr, the time thru the zone is 11.92 sec but if you're doing 149 km/hr, the time thru the zone is 12.08 sec - difference of 0.16 sec. Given the distance between the officer in the plane and the subject vehicle it could be argued that the accuracy of the officer's reaction t...

Re: Why Steve Jobs never drove with license plates?

he was busy at the dealership and didn't pay enough attention to what employees at apple were developing when they came out with a lousy 4S yah... what a screw up! Apparently they only sold 4,000,000 of them in the first week. That only works out to about $2-3 billion dollars of sales in 7 days.......

Re: Why Steve Jobs never drove with license plates?

The dealer loved the arrangement not just because they got him to lease a new car every 6 months but because they also had a regular supply of off lease cars that were "previously driven by Steve Jobs" which increased the value.

I thought an incorrect date on a ticket was not considered a Fatal Error. Does that change depending on how many days between the actual date and what is written on the ticket?

You pay extra to get a condominium with a "lake" or "park" view. Why not more for one with an "intersection" view?

Re: Charge Withdrawn - Success story

Just some food for thought. Industry Canada issues licences for mobile and base station police radio, MDT's and .....mobile and stationary police radar units. Would the fact that they are issuing the licences not mean that Industry Canada is following a standard? Most radar units i've dealt with ar...
