Try to re-take your pictures. Also, since you probably have an old(ish) camera, replace the dead button cell battery. Most cameras have a small button cell battery (usually a 1216 or similar size) that keeps the clock "ticking". Try to locate that.

I tried again with the correct day and time. all good now.

I have become a watcher of one-ways lately.

Every other street similar has a red circle with a slash.

Or arrows or something to say one-way.

Cheers

Just using common sense

I think that where-ever the arrow is is where the 1-way starts.

Every other street I have checked in toronto seems to be like that.

I went to court yesterday on this matter.

What an eye opener.

10:30 start I got there at 10:30

I sat at the back and just watched how it was done.

People talked to the DA and automatically got reduced fines to plead guilty.

I did not know that I was supposed to go up and tell them I was there

but I heard my name mentioned so I went up.(all before judge entered)

She asked what plea I had I said not guilty. She said have a seat.

Court started.

Cop asked to talk outside I said ok.

She did not like my pictures but agreed that there was no red circle sign with slash on the street.

She tried to get me to plead to some bylaw charge with no record.

Then when going back in she said what do I want to do? I said see what the judge says.

They call me I say my name the DA says "charge withdrawn officer present no evidence"

Total time in courtroom 18 minutes.

Not sure if it was long weekend hurry-up but I won hehe.

:D

Congratulations, Vper1.

The charge hung over your head for almost one year, what a relief!

Shame on the cop issued ticket without evidence, she bites the hand that feeds her.

What kind of evidence would they need?

I am thinking the bylaw.(where the sign must be posted)

They gave me no chance to ask they just kicked me out of there.

When charges get withdrawn as officer has "no evidence" it usually means that police officer did not have sufficent evidence for the prosecutor to proceed with your matter.

An example: officer did not make any notes re: the offence and does not recall important particulars.

Thanks now I get it (now) she agreed that there was no red circle with slash on street, 'out in the hall' and did not want me to ask her about it on stand.

Thanks
