Speeding 15km over (reduced from 25km over) - Should I fight it?

Hello everyone,
I just want to say that I have done a search and have read through the other posts on this topic, but was hoping for some advise on my specific situation.
I was pulled over for speeding 75 in a 50 by cop operating a radar trap. The ticketing officer reduced it to 65 ($53 and no points) and marked my ticket with a code "R75" which I have now learned means reduced from 75.
Should I try to fight this? I have been warned by some traffic ticket agents that if I try to fight it they could bring the charge back up to 75 in a 50 and 3 demerit points if I lose.
Any opinions? Thanks.

- Yes, they can amend the charge.
- Demerit points in the grand scheme are rather meaningless.
- Your insurance will treat 15km and 25km the exact same.

To add on, if you fight it, you may have a chance with other aspects of the law.
