Disobey Stop Sign - Fail To Stop

Unread post by Daniel312 »

A couple days ago I got my first ticket for apparently "Almost hitting a kid." Im a very caution driver and as a 20 year old living in Brampton, I don't want this to be on my insurance record. I'm sure the officer's view was obstructed, which i don't know if I can prove. It was a 4 way stop sign, he was 90 degrees to the left of me and might have even had another vehicle in front of him (which I can probably confirm after requesting disclosure).

The Police officer misspelled my first name (DANJEL in stead of DANIEL, and also on my postal code it looks like he printed 466 instead of 4E6). Is this enough to get away with a "mistake on a traffic ticket."

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You!
