I was in an accident yesterday. I was going east and was turning left onto a northbound road. I entered the intersection on a green light and stopped for oncoming traffic. the light turned yellow and two or three more cars went by. The next car was three car lengths behind. The light turned red, and he slowed down. I started my turn, but he sped up to run the light and hit me. I was charged with turn not in safety and was given a $85 ticket.
I was wondering if anyone knew some cases that could help me or could give me some info on the HTA regarding failure to stop at a red light or failure to clear intersection. I'm a G2 driver so this could really screw me. Thanks
