Incorrect Date On 49km Over In An 80

by: Mepps on

Just wanted some advice on a ticket I received last week. The officer put on the ticket that it was April 18, 2010 when in fact the date was the 19th. He also said that if I tried to fight the ticket he would raise the speed to 50km over. I have proof that I was not in the country on the 18th.

Would this be a fatal error on the ticket?

The ticket is irregular on it's face, therefore invalid. I personally would consult a paralegal as to how to proceed, considering the impact this could have on you.
