Right Turn At "no Right Turn On Red Light"

Unread post by gyd »

I made a right turn on a red light at a "no right turn on red". While filling the car information on the ticket, the police officer wrote "11" in the year section instead of 2007. Is it an enough argument in the court of law to win the case?

Hi gyd, I just got a ticket for this and I am wondering how you resolved this? Did you go to court?

I honestly did not see the sign for the no turn on the red light and pratically drove right into the cop!

Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

Also the 2011 vs. 2007 for the car information is not enough to get the ticket tossed. If it was the offence date, that's different...

Just to confirm, the year on a ticket refers to the plate sticker, not the vehicle itself. Regardless, that info no longer appears on newer tickets.
