What audio recording?

when I was stopped, the PC pulled out a voice recorder (and poked it through the passenger window) and said to me that he was going to be recording our conversation

same thing?

Never had that happen. Was that in the UK? Here, many of them wear body cams or mics but not all of them do.

Audio recording because the officer is new and need some practice on issuing tickets?

Better to know more about whats going on before saying anything in court.
